We're not feeling it. My grocery and utility bills have skyrocketed. Prices on basic groceries keep going up. My electric bill, for a small house, is $250 this month. And my home insurance has almost doubled. I'm putting an extra $200 a month into escrow to make sure I can pay it next year. Plus gas prices remain higher than they should be. I keep hearing promises, and I know we're just seven months in, but I would appreciate if it would start making a difference for us. Trump said he only has two years to make things happen, before midterms, so that's the time limit I'm looking at too. If they don't get elections fixed before midterms, we could lose everything.
Hmmmmm...my house is free and clear yet this year I'm having to fork over $3500 in property taxes. The county needs to pay obese fire fighters so I can live comfortably knowing they will be there in case my house catches fire. I'm glad I probably won't have to pay income taxes since my gross combined is around 13K. But the inflation keeps nibbling away at my left over money after everything thing is paid. I know Trump is doing what he can, but Q and the boys had better do something quickly before I'm in the poor house.
