... however, it seems to me that the object of all US elections is to get a 50/50 split in at least one part of Congress so that there is always an excuse for not getting anything done.
Redoing the census is ONLY ONE STEP toward fixing our elections; it is NOT sufficient to fix them and anyone saying it is shoukd be regarded with HIGH levels of suspicion..
Other necessary steps include:
clean voter rolls,
mandatory ids,
paper ballots,
small, precint-of-residence voting,
in-personal voting,
extremely limited mail-ins,
one-day voting,
hand counting,
and
arrests and stiff penalties for voter fraud and election fraud
It is 'Impossible' for 75% of voting Americans to have elected Trump Yet Congress is about 50/50.

Yes, AND VOIDING EVERY State's vote If they allow illegals to vote. Many are (Cal.) not only allowing it but promoting this treason.
Let me add that after the IMPOSSIBLE fixed vote of 2020, i 100% believe that obama was NEVER actually elected by The Citizens of the USA.
