I call BS. California is so gerrymandered already that if they take from one area and give it to another it will mess up everything. Don't worry.
I've read that they would have to take from D+8 or 10 districts making them leaning D which would make them toss ups. They would also need to take from D+15-20 districts making them much closer which those Reps would not be happy with.
I see this backfiring. As planned. 😉
