It's possible that during their ride in the beast together, Putin and PDJT, spoke of this and agreed(?) to get rid of Z if he insists on continuing the war.
The easy approach would be for all to assume a glum expression, and Trump turns to Putin and says, "He's all yours. Make it quick." And Russia cranks up the voltage to Maximum all the way to Kiev and stops the war by an overwhelming victory.
Or (fantasy land), Trump turns to a Secret Service agent and says, "Give me your sidearm," receives it, and shoots Zelensky on the spot. Everyone is aghast. Macron stammers, "But...but...what about ze Ukrainian government?" Trump shrugs. "What Ukrainian government? Now they have a chance to have one. I think they will give me a medal. And a nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize. J.D., can you send for the cleaning crew."
