Those are F35Cs. A Marine unit. Those are not the planes that escored Putin. The ones that escorted Putin were from the Alaska Air National Guard units.
Speaking of those Marine Version F-35Cs, they are astonishingly high-tech and amazing. They were doing fly-bys and intense turning and directional changes like the other F-35s and F-22s at the show, and yet they can hover like a wind chime on a calm day and just sit there.
