It's been going on for a long time (decades) but it was mostly hidden. My town has been taken over by Indians who came in on H12B visas. Then then got their relatives to move in using chain migration. Our mayor and half the town council are Indians now. There was a council meeting where they voted to remove the American flag from all council meetings. Since the meetings are on the Internet, a lot of people showed up to the next meeting waving small American flags. The council ordered the sergeant-at-arms to arrest them. Luckily, an American lawyer was there and he told them that they could not do it. So for now, the flag still has to be there at council meetings.
These people do not want to assimilate - they want to take over.
Wow. That's utterly repugnant. They always publicly give the impression that they're grateful for the opportunity the USA gives them. Maybe I've only met the exceptions. I guess the outward veneer wears off quickly when nobody's looking.
Correct. There are exceptions, but generally this is how it works.
I've helped in HR in several companies I've worked in, and historically there are workshops you can sign up for, teaching you how to legally exclude qualified applicants so you can pull in whatever H1B you want, in order to lower your salary expense.
