Kinda got started on this because I wanted to make a well researched and well sourced series of posts about why dispensationalism and Christian Zionism is heresy. Proven by scripture, early church fathers, Catholic, Orthodox and Mainline Protestant theologians alike. So I started really looking into how Christianity got infiltrated by the cabal.
I am reading Dr. Taylor Marshall’s book Infiltration about how the Catholic Church was infiltrated by Freemasons, Modernists, Zionists and Marxists set out to destroy it from within. Great read whether you are Catholic or not.
Anyways the Scofield Bible and Scofield’s connection to Zionists has been discussed on this board before. And how Zionists used Scofield and seminaries like the Dallas Bible Seminary to get American Protestants to be sympathetic towards Israel.
Some other examples I thought I read on here or maybe it was Instagram or YouTube that Protestant seminaries also got infiltrated which is why you see all the LGBTQ blasphemy in some Anglican, Lutheran and other Protestant churches.
So anyways if you have material relating to this topic I would love to read it or watch it.
To me it’s clear that Jesus and Christianity are the enemy of the cabal. We are in a spiritual war and the cabal is a satanic force that has been working tirelessly to subvert and destroy Christianity.
People love to say Scofield was some Zionist plant, but there’s really no evidence for that. He didn’t invent dispensationalism anyway... Darby and the Brethren had been teaching it looong before him, and the early church fathers like Irenaeus were already talking about a future earthly reign and Israel’s restoration centuries earlier. Scofield just popularized it. If folks want to argue against dispensationalism, cool, but trying to make it out like some cabal infiltration is just weak.
Long story short basically the story goes that Sam Untermeyer a Zionists lawyer who helped establish the IRS funded Scofield and had influence with the Oxford press and the Lotus Club an elite literally and social club in NYC. And how could a former drunkard embezzler get the funding for his reference bible without backing and how could someone like him gain access to this club without backing.
I am running errands right now but that’s the gist of it.
Yeah I’ve read those claims about Untermeyer and Scofield too (been thrown around in here a littlebit), but the problem is there’s never been hard evidence connecting the two. It’s mostly built on speculation and repeating the same story around the internet. Scofield definitly had a messy past (no argument there), but that’s not unusual for guys God still ends up using - look at Augustine, Luther, or even Paul’s history for crying out loud.
As for Oxford Press, they published TONS of different study Bibles and works, not just Scofield’s. So access to a publisher doesn’t prove some "Zionist cabal pulling strings." And elite clubs in NYC? That sounds dramatic, but again, I haven’t seen anything verifiable showing that Scofield’s theology was crafted as propaganda.
At the end of the day, if the theology stands or falls, it should be on Scripture... not on whether Scofield had rich friends. Otherwise we’re just chasing conspiracies instead of actually testing doctrine by the Word.
To my perception, the Catholic Church is also dispensationalist, even while frequently decrying it as a “Protestant heresy”. Clearly, there are different meanings to the words, which makes communication based around them quite impossible, and using more of them (-ist, -ism, -it’s, etc) many times more miscommunicative. Clarity is good, so describing things mechanically with simple words (which few if any formally “religious” words are) is a good thing (says the person who just used 15 8+ letter words in 3 sentences).
I was originally gonna post this, which strikes me as comedic gold.. or at least bronze. Better than plastic, at any rate. Enjoy!
