That's right. We've been invaded. Glad that this admin is paying attention. The H1B visas are out of control.
Does this mean the designer sandal 🇮🇳 shops in high end malls are going to go bankrupt?

1/5 is there legally on a visa. Another 1/5 (probably more) is there illegally and undocumented. The impact of this is staggering.
I've been mulling over this issue. Even if we kick out all the illegals and visas, we're still stuck with greedy landlords that continue to raise the rents.
Getting the interest rate for mortgages down to a ridiculously low level (or even zero, for a time) could be a solution to this - get all the renters (Americans) who are getting screwed over by greed into housing that would be cheaper than their current rent - into a HOUSE, a home, that they own themselves! And do away with property tax so we aren't renting STILL from the government. Then the landlords would be forced to lower rents, for anyone that just doesn't want a house or can't qualify.
This is my wish. Probably just a pipe dream, but I'll dream it anyway.
