We all get older man. I am a muscular 215 right now at 56 and in the best shape of my life. I work a high labor blue collar job in the florida heat and then work out in a 100 degree garage for 90 minutes. I am not bragging. I was diagnosed with degenerative disk disease at 30. I have had thalassemia my entire life. And weighed 280 at 50...and that was not muscular. I was a fat ass with all sorts of problems. Trouble breathing. Every joint screaming. I made a choice at 50 to start eating right and resistance training. Yeah we are fighting a losing battle. Some days the last thing I want to do is lift a weight after work. Just don't give in. I want to wipe my own ass when im 80. If I can do it you can do it.
I have 3 years to go for that evolution, my COPD is getting better thanks to Moringa tea and vaporized DMSO and seem to have beaten my prostate cancer using a compilation of molasses, raw honey, black seed oil, iodine and prayer.
But as I have to take opiate pain killers every turd that comes out is a floater, so there are not many clingons to wipe away.
I get in a pool 3 days a week and get in between 2400 to 3200 yards. One day a week I go into the weight room, but I do low weights with high reps. My joints can’t handle higher weights. I may be 260, but my chest is still bigger than my gut.
I'm female, and pretty freaking old. I used to play ice hockey, run daily, and skied like a maniac. I still ice skate and generally keep in shape. The best advice I can give for people in my age group (70 plus), is to never stop exercising. It doesn't have to be anything crazy, but should be consistent. All I do is a combination of stretching, core work, and half-assed yoga. Use it or lose it is my motto. Edit to add: I started taking vitamins and supplements in my early thirties, and still do.

With goals like that let's plan world domination.
world domination at 80 is being able to get off the toilet...especially when all the males in your family have not made it past 51.

awesome man. Yeah I am a low weight high rep guy too. Ego lifting is long gone lol.
