Become a member and weigh in. The new Exec Director is all about transparent communication with the membership. The NRA-ILA has many irons in the fire. The Board of Directors has been almost entirely changed out (but there had always been a lot of rotation) and one can communicate with any of them to raise a concern. Lots of organizational and operational lessons being learned and changes being made in the wake of Wayne LaPierre. The 2nd Amendment is always front and center.
After your comments I think I will. Thank you
Best of luck. Gun Owners of America (GOA) and Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership (JPFO) are also good 2nd and 3rd rank lobbying groups (in order of increasing stridency). The Citizens Committee to Keep and Bear Arms (CCKBA) is also good, but I am not a member of it. (Maxxed out.) Memberships with them are mainly on the basis of voluntary contributions and you get their periodical newsletter and news on any lobbying activity. The Bondi DoJ intends to view 2A infringements as violations of civil rights.
I live in a state that just passed a law banning pistol magazines over 10 rounds' capacity. Like dictating how many cigarettes in a package. Pointless annoyance---except that is exactly the point. I'm hoping the NRA will get around to challenging that one before the Supreme Court. If there isn't already a judgement that needs to be applied by lawsuit.
