That's not just any demon. That's Ba'al, the bull god. Also a favorite among child targeting satanists. One of Lucifer's chief lieutenants, second only to the Fallen One himself. It doesn't usually go after kids unless summoned during a sacrificial event where the intent is clear and focused. Often prayed to by satanists looking to achieve wealth and power, but requires regular sacrifices in order to keep that wealth and/or power. Was/is also a favorite among the ancient Canaanite and Philistine tribes and bloodlines. When Moses, and later his sons was leading the Hebrews out of Egypt and through the wilderness into the Promised Land, this was the god they fought the most. It's now belieed in some theological circles that it may have been what the Gnostics refer to as the demiurge. Gnostics believe the demiurge was/is the god of the Old Testament, and that much of the Old Testament was either rewritten or deleted in order to hide that knowledge.
Definitely not an entity to be trifled with.
They do like that claim. They donโt like backing it up by giving positive and negative indicators, or resolving all the serious โNew Testamentโ issues it creates.
Basically that theory overturns all of Christianity. They are right that a lot of the OT is hidden, maybe by having removed books or scriptures, but primarily by just poor translation.
