I’m waiting for the “at least it’s male and female” comments. This is what I’ve been referring to, with “over correcting” to things like the Sweeney ad. We want to be so done with lgbtq123 that we’ll accept an ad, aimed at children, that has all the ingredients of soft porn. I mean, do we really want 12 yr olds wearing nothing but an unzipped jacket. If my comments ever seem overly nitpicky or whatever, it’s precisely because I’m trying to avoid, and help promote whatever thought I can to help us all avoid, exactly this. Whether I’m any good at it or not, that’s at least the intent.
