Islam will ot dominate as long as Christ is still recognized as King. His understanding of spiritual matters is nil. So much so he rejected Christ for a pedophile.
He started off as an atheist and is starting to see the value of believing a higher power. But in due time I think he is going to go toward Christian values and slowly turn away from Islam as he see Christianity permeate throughout Romanian society and how it is a glue that holds the fabric of society together.
As a former atheist of long standing, I seriously doubt that any ideological atheist would come to Christ by an opportunistic path. (And if he can see ANY merit in Islam, "his thinker is a clinker.")
He is an opportunist except he has also said that even if you do not believe God is real that it gives people structure and discipline in their lives. That is what he has learned living in Romanian society for a while now.
That is why he sides on the idea that there is a higher power now.
"I will believe in God because it is expedient and useful." Not because it makes a difference in your afterlife. Believe me, this is not belief. (No pun intended.) No person goes to the cross for a convenience.
