Well, the cyber attack is likely from the Chinese or Israel, to further disable and sidetrack an industry that is British-owned to cause more disruption and loss of wealth in a country being overtaken by Indians, Sikhs and Africans.
While the ads did lend me to think they were targeted to uber rich Tranny/global "elitist" crowd or something, and we know there are PLENTY of uber rich Tranny out there pushing this stuff on us all. A bunch of old ones at that, I am not going to cheer on people doing this kind of thing to any business really. I agree with Casuallyobservants observation on a bigger picture on this attack. It seems someone wants to take over that country and that is a way to go about it faster. IDK, maybe the hackers were themselves attacked by that company and it is a personal thing... who knows this early on.. ?? Interesting anyway, thank you for the post on it.
Do more research. It is owned by Tata of India. The purchaser, the latest head of the Tata family business, grew fond of Jaguars when he was in university in the UK and took up the opportunity to purchase the brand (along with Land Rover) and continue with it. The top executives should be fired and replaced for their complete folly. They plan to compete with the likes of Bentley and Rolls-Royce with all-electric vehicles. Too small a market segment. No room for a newbie. That will go the way of wind turbines, in due time.
Re 'do more research' - I say to you - you are not looking at the big picture:
Tata may own them, but even when Ford owned them, Jaguar Land Rover was and is still considered a British multinational automobile manufacturer which produces luxury vehicles and SUVs with its head office in Whitley, Coventry, United Kingdom. They are manufactured globally, but a significant portion of production occurs in the United Kingdom, and the British people still identify this company as theirs, thus the demoralization when the company appears to be failing...
Re the disastrous ad campaign:
Jaguar Land Rover CEO Adrian Mardell announced his "retirement" in August 2025, which followed heavy backlash to the brand's controversial "woke" rebrand campaign. Mardell had been with the company for 35 years and CEO for three years.
While Mardell is stepping down, reports also indicate that Jaguar Land Rover ALSO fired the marketing agency responsible for the campaign.
An owner is someone who can sell an asset. Ford was an owner. Tata was the next owner. Geely is the new owner. Everything else about Jaguar has nothing to do with ownership. The factory has never relocated...which I knew perfectly well. The morale is down also because the former customers have held their noses at the new marketing concept. I predict that Jaguar will either sink completely or only make sales in China. It will be gone as a piece of British automotive history.
Recovering from the ad campaign will not help them recover from the unpopularity of EVs with automotive enthusiasts. Tata is not selling Land Rover, which has good sales and no intention of becoming all-EV. To the contrary, they are offering vehicles with gas engines rated at greater than 600 hp! I could scarcely believe what I read about that, but it appears to be true.
To Tata Motors (India) in 2008. And then Tata recently sold it to Geely. Figured the new vision forward at Jaguar was not viable for them. (But they are keeping Land Rover, thank goodness.)
If you try to use a Jaguar as transportation you will go broke, anyway. 😁👍🇺🇲

Wise conclusion ! You’re correct !

Aren't those both owned by ford?
Ford sold it.
