I don’t understand why this would be specific to “IT companies” though - every medium to large corp. has IT departments and the majority of every one I’ve worked at is full of H1-B Indians and other foreigners. And a white female American in an IT department (or Product Manager role) at any company in America is damn near impossible to find.
IMO, Indians have a stranglehold on IT departments of American companies. Once the Indians get in there, they ONLY hire other Indians - it’s a total shut-out. I’ve seen this first-hand for decades and it disgusts me seeing these foreigners taking all these good-paying jobs away from Americans.
I saw this at GE. Found out GE owned a part of Tata Consultancy Group in Mumbai. So they were paying themselves when they hired Tata people and didn't hire Americans. I don't know if GE still has any ownership in Tata.
So, GE f#%&=$ over America workers pretty good. Now you know. How many other mega companies did the same? How much money was earned here and sent back to India? Trillions?
So disturbing! We can add AA and Visa to the “foreigners first” list too. AA was even shielding CHINESE nationals who were employees (a.k.a. spies) at their corporate HQ who had overstayed their visa by a YEAR and they somehow kept them from getting deported back in Trump’s first term. I saw it first hand. Disgusting!
Why do you think I don’t have a job because people who are US citizens don’t have that chance. It is everywhere. I was not born here but it took me 10-11 to wait in my former country to become US resident and 6 more US citizen. Florida is hiring only illegals.
