I do understand fren. We are all feeling the effects. Granted, the high net worth individuals probably consider it a rounding error; even so, they eat, buy gas, whatever...there are many, many more of us than them.
History has shown they are right to fear the "peasants" rising up.
We are at war, and sadly, there are casualties in war, and that is not limited to death and physical injury. Financial casualties in this war can be seen in real life and presented on the internet. It is the deep state and its allies fighting back against President Trump by inflicting pain on his supporters.
All we can do is be stout and resolute; don't let them distract you from the goal, distant though it may be. Endeavor to persevere. You are not alone.
Back in 2017 I had a salvage yard transmission put in my (now 27 year old) E-250. Cost just under $1500. Eight years and 42,000 miles later everything is still operating well with it.
Did it hurt at the time? Yeah, I was making $18,000 a year back then before taxes came out.
Hard to have patience when a lot of us are getting bent over from the cost of living

Thanks. My transmission just shit out and I am pretty fucked unless I get help from family. Otherwise I gotta liquidate silver/GME
Well, on the plus side:
(1) You have assets to liquidate,
(2) Silver is valued highly at the moment.
Do what you have to and move on.

Silver has been moving up and showing signs of a breakout.
Do what you have to do. You can't sit at home with a broken tranny.
I can probably borrow my Dad’s commuter I am hoping
