Agree with you to a degree and also agree with u/Flowers_for_Alger/. I'm a man and I wouldn't cause a scene in front of my kid. If I were to act like a whackadoodle Karen in front of my son, that would be damaging and ruin the experience for him probably more than losing a ball would. We don't know what this woman said or just how severe her insanity is. The father at least took the high road and the kid was rewarded after the game with memorabilia far more valuable. All this Karen got was a fairly worthless used baseball and Internet infamy.

Some battles aren't worth fighting. And a gentleman does stand up for himself and his family over something that matters. I'm sure the results would've been different had the Karen tried to assault the kid. When you're dealing with crazy Karens, they'll get their just due as this one will no doubt if she hasn't already.
