The ONLY U.S. President to NEVER have a Navy ship named after him is Richard M. Nixon. The reason is the disgrace and scandal under which he resigned from office. Other than that, Nixon accomplished as much or more than most presidents.
If Bill Clinton is guilty of colluding with Epstein, visiting his pedo-island multiple times including while president, raping young girls and being accused of rape by several adult women, possibly stealing $Millions in funds meant for Haitian Earthquake Relief, etc... does William J. Clinton deserve to be honored by naming a new Navy aircraft carrier after him?
If Nixon didn't deserve to be remembered or honored with a ship name, why would Bill Clinton deserve it? His crimes may be far worse. Can the Secretary of Defense and President Trump think of a more worthy name for the new Aircraft Carrier, which will start being built next year, commissioned in 2033-2035 time frame?
Personally, I don't want to see a USS William J. Clinton pull into port.
A good alternative is to name the new Aircraft Carriers to honor two national heroes who were also US Navy pilots.
USS Neil Armstrong: Neil Armstrong was the first man to walk on the moon, and he served as a naval aviator in the U.S. Navy before joining NASA. He became a US Navy midshipman in 1949 and a naval aviator in 1950. He saw action in the Korean War, flying the Grumman F9F Panther from the aircraft carrier USS Essex.
USS Alan Shepard: US Navy Rear Admiral Alan Shepard was a Navy pilot, the first American in space and the fifth person to walk on the moon. He was a graduate of the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, saw action with the surface navy during World War II, became a naval aviator in 1947 and a test pilot in 1950.
Both would be excellent names for the new Aircraft Carriers, just in case the William J. Clinton or the George W. Bush don't appear to be good choices in the near future.
Nixon recognized Commie China, faked all 4 "moon landings" and forced the world to trade in blood-soaked petro-dollars. He's no better than Clinton or Bush.
If any U.S. President deserves to have a large Carrier named after them it would be none other than John Adams. While President he got authorization to create the Navy Department, so John Adams was a key figure in the establishment of the U.S. Navy.
There were four US Navy ships named for John Adams. The first three were basically late 1800's and early 1900's. The last was a Nuclear Powered Lafayette-class ballistic missile submarine, which was built around 1963-64 and was decommissioned on 24 March 1989. There hasn't been a Navy ship named for Pres. John Adams for 40 years.
Maybe he is more deserving of the honor than Bill Clinton, who enrolled in the ROTC hoping to avoid military service for four years, and eventually entered the draft but avoided military service entirely?
On January 13, 2025 "Joe Biden" authorized...etc.
FTFY - needed the sarcastic quote marks
Joe Biden wasn't competent to authorize turds to enter his diaper, let alone anything important
Trump should name the carriers whatever he wants - he has been the LEGIT CIC anyway since Jan. 20, 2017
USS Charles James Kirk has a nice ring to it, with a subtle hint of spaceship tossed in...
name change incoming in 3-2-1
That vegetable ?! He din order sh1t
Gross.
Overturn that pure bullshit.

The ships will be known informally as Hookers and Blow.
I'm surprised that we are still making aircraft carriers.
the only boat Clinton should be named after is a cigar boat...the ss in your twat
