The old energies started fading, and the new energies (like our newly energized white sun) have started to break down the old structures of society, throughout the world.
It is a cycle of times, about every 26,000 years. It is a physical and spiritual war.
A lot of it is because of suspected predictive programming in movies and television which has shown to be real in the past. I don't think the rapture is coming, especially because everyone is anticipating it on this day but I do feel something big will occur.
It happens every time things get stressful and there is great social upheaval and change in human history.
Barbarian Hordes ravaged the Western Roman Empire. Defeating every army sent against them.
Christians despaired about entering the Endtimes.
The Black Death ravaged Europe. It seemed like to many the end of days.
The 30 years war saw immense devastation spread over Northern Germany and Eastern Europe. Same phenomenon.
American Civil War. The sheer scale of the death had many of the Soldiers on both sides convinced they were living in the opening of Revelation.
WW1 same phenomenon. Again in WW2. So and so forth throughout different historical eras.
Much like how Church attendance falls in good times and climbs in bad times. It’s as much a panic and comfort response as anything. It’s not a response limited to Christianity either.
