I am a woman and our church teaches that women should get their college education, work, or start businesses and of course have a family if that opportunity comes to them. Their decisions are their own. I’ve never experienced anything but respect and love from the members and leadership, both men and women. The Pedo problem crosses all areas of society, horrifically.
Everything may be well and good until you get to the power structure at the top. Their decisions are their own, but the congregation should hold these people responsible. It's very difficult to do that though because they will make life hell for anyone who tries.

Yes, I’m 20 minutes from UVU. My son attends there. Magma is 46 miles from me. There was also a suspicious package on the side of the road in another location that was detonated and found to not be a threat. I will report more on what I see and hear. There were police at my apt bldg last night. One marked pickup and two unmarked sedans. They went into the south half of the building. No noise or disruption. They quietly left around 11pm. On top of my shell shock from last week this adds an unsettled feeling. I’ve had such a messed up stomach since the 10th.
