Israel and the church are distinct. There is no sudden disappearance of Israel in Revelation 4 and reappearance of Israel near the end of the book. The church descends with Christ.

Saying “Israel is the church” is like saying, “salt is pepper.” God is not grafting one thing into self to make itself jealous so that it won’t boast. Accurate theology is obligated to pass the logic test and be reasonable. Redefining terms with abhorrent theology is the only way to make an argument otherwise.
