Sundance was a huge Hollywood thing. He appears to have been a big player in Hollywood behind the scenes for some reason. He had all kinds of ties to leftist, communist, and socialist organizations. I suspect fund-raising or funds redirection was being done by him and his organizations, but no time to dig on it right now.
Redford was the first quote on the back cover of Donald Trump's book Crippled America (2015), saying of Trump's candidacy, "I'm glad he's in there, being the way he is, and saying what he says and the ways he says it, I think shakes things up and I think that is very needed."

Why does he look exactly like Brad Pitt at age 33? Just saying...
In 2019, Redford penned an op-ed in which he referred to Trump's administration as a "monarchy in disguise" and stated "[i]t's time for Trump to go".[114] Redford later co-authored another op-ed in which he criticized Trump's handling of the COVID-19 pandemic while also citing the collective public response to the pandemic as a model for how to respond to climate change.[115] He criticized the decision to withdraw from the Paris Agreement.[116] In July 2020, Redford penned an op-ed in which he stated President Trump lacks a "moral compass". In the same piece, he announced that he would be supporting Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election.[117]
On September 16, 2025, Redford died in his sleep at his home in Sundance, Utah, at age 89.[19][102] Numerous members of the entertainment industry paid tribute to Redford including frequent co-star Jane Fonda, who wrote, "He meant a lot to me and was a beautiful person in every way. He stood for an America we have to keep fighting for".[103]
Ummmmm why do we care about this guy?????

Yes, that was on Wikipedia, but they say Redford did not endorse Trump. smh
He had class, and was okay. More a classic liberal (or Kennedy Democrat), than what we are dealing with today with modern militant leftists.
I've got no problem with him, like to watch Jeremiah Johnson, and enjoyed some of his films. RIP, sir.
To die in one's sleep is a luxury afforded to few. Nice to hear.

Jeremiah Johnson turned out to be a bit of a liberal prick.
Not near as bad as some, but for sure not on the patriot side.
I wonder how many on our side will make videos laughing about him dying and saying he deserved?
