I think "AI" is about to wipe out MOST jobs. As a coder, I use machine learning to write code, and can bang out probably 1000% productivity vs what I could do before ML. We're training the models and writing the code around it such that apps can be written with less and less human input, and sooner (rather than later) it will be as simple as logging into your neighborhood app store and saying "give me an app that does a, b, and c" and you just download it and roll on. Coders will be largely out of the job. Only the maintenance folks will be left around, taking care of the servers/infra, tweaking, training, etc. Much like in the early 1800s every horse had a job (not comparing humans and horses on purpose here but can't think of a better analog) but after the steam engine, horses were bred for racing, leisure riding, and once automobiles became ubiquitous horses no longer had to "work." What we're calling "AI" will do the same for humans - set us free. Once Optimus robots (or other similar ones) start building themselves at scale, they will be able to do most jobs. And like the engineers and blacksmiths of the middle 1800s, only the top few percent in each field will be required to do the work of the masses.
Take it or leave it, just my opinion.
If you want to be a mod, just ask.
I personally don't, but I think there should be some churn
We know shill bots have multiple accounts.
True, I know people here who have had many, many different accounts over the years
IMO, a much better analogue for predictive programming on 9/11 is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Die_Hard_with_a_Vengeance
Try watching it in that context
this case was taught in American History, when I was in 9th grade
They also taught us that there was a gold standard (in the early 1990s) which we know now had not existed since the 1970s
