In actual fact, the correct Royal protocol on a state visit like this, is for the visiting dignitary to walk in front of the King or Queen. This was the same as what Macron did a few weeks a go when he walked in front of King Charles. No symbolism. It's the correct protocol.
I do not think this is correct. Do you have any evidence for this? In the UK no one, ever, walks in front of the monarch. That's why it was such a big deal... and to salute a different head of state and ignore your countries monarch? No, this is not how it is done. Sources, please.

People on here constantly want to believe in their king Trump. Im a Trump supporter, but this fantasy they are living in on here is getting out of control.
Just because Trump with his large family of successors would be, inarguably, fucking IDEAL king material, that doesn't mean it's ideal for the US. We don't do kings. Everyone here knows that, whether you think we do or not.
People just appreciate Trump and honor him for his superhuman sacrifice and effectiveness. He's the most consequential president in history, but he neither wants to nor can be nor should be nor is viewed as king.
Anons are not living in a "fantasy" FFS. Let their praise of Trump roll off your back; most of them love Jesus more and regard him as actual king of the world.
