Being Scottish, this really irks me but not really unexpected to he honest. The country has been on a slippery downward spiral for many years under the SNP and this aligns itself with that path.
For what it's worth, there are no movie times at my local cinema on the West Coast of Scotland, beyond the 6th Jan. Weird.
In actual fact, the correct Royal protocol on a state visit like this, is for the visiting dignitary to walk in front of the King or Queen. This was the same as what Macron did a few weeks a go when he walked in front of King Charles. No symbolism. It's the correct protocol.
