This is the part that just kills me, AE:

My success professionally and personally is due in great part to having a very high emotional IQ. I pride myself on understanding people and being able to integrate and in some cases, cater to their personalities. It's not something I can take any credit for, it's just a God-given gift.

So it is incredibly frustrating, heart-rending levels of frustrating (given the current circumstances), that I cannot figure out a way to reach these people despite literal years of consideration on the very subject you articulate here.

These people who seem normal on the street or in the office literally do not understand how wrong and evil it is to condone, rationalize or make excuses for a man being slaughtered in front of his young family for political reasons. A man who only wanted to debate and persuade.

They're so far gone. I share your immense frustration. And we have to figure out the answer to this question because there's no easy way to exclude millions of sick people from the body politic, but they cannot be a part of it in their current state.
