You might want to have both images in the same post or both side by side in the same picture, but these jeans are rather faded besides being blue. Not sure if lighting and poor quality could make them appear so black
Yes, I assumed everyone had seen the stair pics or could just take my word for it when I said normal denim jeans, lol. Everyone knows what jeans look like in the sun. So why do his pants look black in the still image from the rooftop video?

I'm pretty sure a Mauser is considerably larger and longer than can fit in jeans with a whole leg. Not to mention being unable to bend.
There are YouTube tube videos with larger scoped rifles in pant legs. The video stiff leg limp is less prominent than you’d think.
The video on the other side of the tunnel with him coming up the other staircase shows a mysterious gun shaped bulge on the back side of his right leg.
