Company: We need to hire H1B worker because there’s a shortage of skilled workers.
Trump: No there isn’t.
Company: Yes there is. We announced a job from $60k and no one is applying.
Trump: Pay $100k for the visa.
Company: Well, it will cost us $160k + the relocation costs now. We prefer to hire a local worker for $130k.
Trump: Here you go. I told you: there’s no shortage.
