That demonic face is so weird how did he even make it on television?
And why is he more popular than his former man show cohost Adam Corrolla who is way funnier than he ever was anyway?
I think the answer is that late night shows aren't funny. None of them have ever been funny. Not even johnny carson, jay leno or david letterman. Maybe 1 out of 10 jokes is kind of a dad joke laugh.
Late night talk show hosts are simply humor-tepid, but affable, semi telegenic, confirmation bias pushers, meaning that they reinforce the consensus opinon of their audiences, every night.
So its not about comedy, it's about SOCIAL KONTROL of the masses, by reinforcing status quo establiment narratives.
Gotta make sure that "water cooler talk" is all heading the same direction.
When I refused to have a TV in my house for 6 years people thought I was insane for not NEEDING that source of "entertainment".
That's when I observed that the "bonding glue" of everyone on my worksite was the programming they saw on TV. All they talked about was the shit they saw on TV the night before and it quickly became apparent that their perspective of reality was almost entirely fabricated by what they absorbed at night.
The only thing I've found profoundly interesting in late night shows is conan obrien when he did the "news repeaters" supercut of all the news station affiliates endlessly repeating the same script all over the country.
That blew me away! It was like the matrix was peeled back before my eyes and suddenly for a brief second, Conan was Morpheus giving me a "this is how the news really works" red pill

Mental prisons are built with false realities.
This is getting memed.

Got a couple already, but the TeeVee is a big boss in this.

I disagree, Ferguson was absolutely hilarious
Take a look at this thread, then look at Kimmel’s mouth.
