I am guessing Charlie knew his mission spreading Jesus's word to the people was over. If he remained a public figure, his life would be threatened. None of the circumstantial evidence seems to support the story. A 30 06 rifle would have left a large exit wound. Shooter taking apart the gun, then putting it back together and storing it in a box, wrapped in a blanket in the woods. Fake text messages. Slow motion video showing anomalies with the bullet wound and blood coming from another location. Blood stains on his shirt were inconsistent. We are being gaslit for some reason.
