A non-binary academic, Casey Robert Gunan, aged 35, was sentenced to 19 years and 7 months in federal prison, along with 15 years of supervised release and $94,000 in restitution. Arrested in 2024, he had already spent more than a year in custody before trial.
According to the judgment, he had set fire to a California police car, then attempted to attack a federal building and a U.S. courthouse in Oakland with firebombs, in addition to starting several fires on the UC Berkeley campus in June 2024. During the hearing, Gunan acknowledged suffering from bipolar disorder and stated: “I understand that I need treatment,” insisting the act did not reflect his character or beliefs. Judge Jeffrey White rejected this argument and imposed a lengthy sentence.
In a separate case, a 50-year-old transgender woman, already a convicted sex offender, faced charges in Virginia for public indecency in a women’s locker room. Multiple witnesses testified they saw the individual naked in a shower stall with the curtain open, engaging in sexual acts in public view. During the hearing, the defendant demanded to be addressed as female, but the judge declined to compel the prosecutor to do so. Several charges are pending, with sentencing yet to be determined.
Both incidents were presented as examples of violent or criminal acts attributed to individuals described as “far-left”, with the video’s author emphasizing a claimed record rise in such attacks in 2025.

I think prison will reform him.
Firstly, he's going to drop the whole "non-binary" thing the first day if he's smart. Otherwise, he'll be a large 'binary' prisoner's girlfriend.
Secondly, he'll be considerably less 'radicalized' when he finds out that he's surrounded by hundreds of violent felons who won't put up with it.
after his time in prison, he'll identify as "Stretch Tout"!
Which prison are they sending him to? Men's prison or women's prison?
That 20 year sentence should help him figure out his "non-binary" issues.
