I'm going to be Glamping this time around in my friends rental room, while I build a better room for a longer stay. I will get starlink on my next round. Rental room is an outbuilding about 8 ft by 8 ft, I have to retrofit for A/C My friend rented it out for around 35 bucks, I'll pay him 70 +pay their electric bill. All in less than 200 a month, and I'll be hanging out with my friend and his family. He is my cycling buddy and Karaoke buddy, and he and his wife are poor.
I'll also provide some of the food as I want an American style breakfast.

I pack a Starlink mini just for this reason but admit rooms without a balcony have stymied me.
My room is actually an outbuilding, but SE Asia has a lot of rainy days.
Some can be better then none in a pinch but I get what your saying so far my Starlink experience has been better the any of the older C and Ku band systems I have used in the past, when it comes to performance in the rain.
With their ties with T-Mobile it is a long-term goal for sure.
