If I had to guess. They’ll probably be getting similar protections to ‘Journalists’ in events like this. At least depending on what is on file with the relevant authorities. As they ‘claim’ to be independent observers.
So they probably won’t ‘intentionally’ be targeted. But if they happen to ‘accidentally’ catch a Tear Gas Canister or Rubber Bullet to the gut. Just collateral damage and a trade hazard.
Also probably a sign we have way too many Lawyers and paralegals in our society. If there’s enough of them willing to spend their time doing this.
