I think we need to chill with the anti tax rhetoric. When a liberal government was in office, paying them was frustrating. But now that President Trump is in charge, I'll gladly pay my taxes. I would be fine with paying even more if it was needed, because now I know it is going to the right place. Our nation needs money. We aren't the left. We aren't going to steal it from the rich, or liquidate private industries. It is up to us, most of whom are middle class, to bear this burden, and to do it with pleasure.

What do you believe our taxes go towards? It's wealth distribution via entitlement programs.
Do the math. A couple of hundred bucks multiplied by a few million workers every week wouldn't even begin to cover a fraction of our military, post office, etc.
We didn't have a problem with taxes. The problem was taxation without representation. The newly formed federal government imposed taxes when it was first created. The Whiskey Rebellion was over taxes, and then President Washington stamped that shit out.
Our taxes go to wherever the government needs them. Roads, defense, and yes, entitlements. If President Trump feels this is a good use of our money, then I'm all for it.
What math are you talking about? Are you saying that basic taxes don't cover most government agencies?
Yes, 161.5m working adults can't even come close to paying what the United States needs in order to operate. Think about the average deduction from your paycheck.Then multiply it by 161.5m. Is that enough?
Sure, not everyone makes what you make. Some make more. Some make less. But think of our military budget alone.

Trade and tariffs and the sale of bonds are what's keeping our government afloat. Not you fre hundred a paycheck.
"Taxation without representation"? That was a line developed to drum up support. How long do you think they were being taxed beforehand without representation and it didn't matter to them?
Only until new taxes were being introduced to their very profitable ventures did they get upset.
For me, no. But there are plenty of people who make more than I do. We also have taxes on corporations, some of who are absolutely raking it in.
They weren't being taxed much, though some did exist. Still, I think history shows that our nation was fine with the idea of taxes, as long as you also have an equal share in government.

I'm just pointing out that we have taxes ever since the beginning of our country. Not income taxes like we have today, but it was still taxes, nonetheless.
From what I know of these books, they're often recommended by the sovereign citizen types. Are you saying the federal government is illegitimate?
You're coming off a bit too "pro tax"/glowie in your comments around here. "Taxation without representation" was the "rallying cry" of the revolutionary war. So to say we've had taxes since the beginning is oversimplification. Taxation must be kept in check by We the People through the lawful means of the government We the People setup.
The Creature from Jekylle Island is about the founding of the Federal Reserve which is not Federal as in the existing legitimate federal government nor is it a store of reserves for the American People and so that book has nothing to do with sov cit stuff.
To know that it is a private corporation that loans fiat $ to the real legit federal government through corporate structure is identifying a main source that undermines our USA Republic. Trump and company will rid the USA of the Fed Res; it is coming. They have given several indicators that it is planned and underway. Then the federal government will be loosed from a great financial albatross and be freer to carry out the USA Constitution more effectively.
By your logic, the mere recommendation of The Creature from Jekylle Island is associated with sov cit stuff. Interesting, because since the current administration has begun breaking the chains of the Fed. Res. over the Fed. Gov. you would seem to also be implying that Trump and congress when it votes the Fed. Res. out are themselves also in line with sov. cits. thinking.
President Trump is in charge, and I support him. If that comes across as being a glowie, then so be it, that won't change my mind. If he decides to get rid of the fed, or restructure things, then I'm in support of it. But so far, he hasn't, despite the numerous other things he's done. He's made some changes in terms of appointments and what not, but I haven't heard him specifically say anything about abolishing the fed. Since he is currently our commander in chief, if the IRS says they need money, then I trust the President Trump is doing the right thing and that my contribution is necessary.

Have you not been paying attention? President Trump has taken over the federal government. Now is not the time to try and starve it by preventing taxes. This is the first year our defense budget is over 1 trillion dollars, which is what President Trump said is necessary for the golden dome. You think we can just disband the federal government and hope that China won't come knocking on our door?
You're welcome to your opinion. If he removes the outflow of money and proves that a majority of the "US debt" is from democratic fraud, then we don't owe it to the Fed. The Fed goes away. We use tariff income to fund the thinned out government. And exactly how do you think China is going to "come knocking"? I'm pretty certain that Pres Chi is working with Trump along with Putin to remove all DS actors in all countries for the betterment of the world. The DS is just as embedded in China as it is here. Chi has the same problem we do. That's not to say that there aren't already embedded assets here waiting for a go order from multiple countries. There was a traffic stop in my state a while back that nabbed illegals from about 10 different countries in one vehicle. They have been here for years just waiting orders. So no one is going to "come knocking". Obama, Clinton, and the fake Biden Admins brought them in and probably armed them well. I have a feeling they may be activated soon. When Q said, "no civil war.. Clean and swift." He didn't say we wouldn't have a war with invaders from other countries. Which is why Trump is bringing in the NG in big cities. I'd guess that he will keep doing it until just about every big city in the country is covered. Just some observations. But if you think cutting taxes is going to starve the gov machine or military, you're wrong. Taxes as we know them will be gone pretty soon.
How would it be from democratic fraud? We can see how votes and how money is appropriated. President Trump increased the deficit during his first term, and he had his reasons for doing so. Also, choosing just to not pay the debt would cripple the US in numerous ways.
Tariffs are just another tax, and it is paid for by US citizens. Time and time again, history shows that instead of making domestic goods cheaper, tariffs make the market less free, and domestic producers will raise their prices because they have less competition.
If we don't have a military, you don't think our adversaries wouldn't push in? Oh, it wouldn't be an invasion overnight, but China might start putting pressure in places. Maybe harassing international shipping, or working to smuggle more drugs into the US.
