The story is a little thin on details, I'd like to know the "why" for the dismissal, yet we will probably never really know. The best assumption would be these commanders who have been relieved of duty were not following the Constitution. But, such is life, and I bet A.erica will continue to roll along without one more general or admiral in place.
They serve at the behest and pleasure of the Office of The President of the United States of America, and if this one didn't want to get in line with Trump's Foreign and Military policies, then he would be "asked" to step aside. It wouldn't either be step down as Navy Chief of Staff and take a "demotion" to a lesser Command, or retirement. And since the Director, Navy Staff, aka Chief of Staff is 3rd in line and all the OPNAV and Fleet/Force Commanders answer to the CoS, the only logical step for Johnson to take would be to "retire" because a demotion and allowing him to stay would potentially undermine his replacent's authority.
It's the CoS who puts into place the policies governing the day to day operations of the Navy's and the "standards," such as allowing dudes to wear dresses and call themselves women. I don't know if Johnson was the guy who implemented the Buyden era trans-positive policies, but he definitely didn't fight back or move to have them stopped, and damn sure didn't do anything to change those policies once Trump was sworn in as CIC, so he definitely had to go.
Thank you for a great explanation. It saddens me that our wonderful MSM cannot have the nads to report the news as succinctly as you've just done. When they lose their reporting jobs and have to take a entry level position at their local McDonalds, maybe then they will see the error of their slanted reporting. Thanks again, fren!
