I have had poor vision even as a child. When you are the last one picked for the team, team sports are not interesting. It's a game of coaches and owners not players, and they aren't there for the city they play for, they are there for the dollah.
Was never involved in sports in school and as an adult never understood or liked watching them either. As a retired teacher I am appalled at how much the populace knows about "their" sports team but is so stupid about the world around them and their government. "Bread and circuses" is all it is.
