"The Dems are behaving VERY similarly to the Confederates in the 1860’s.
They are trying to preserve their slave-class and are defying federal authority, and thus the Constitution.
They are openly engaged in a literal treasonous/seditious insurrection.
History repeats."

How about the right to secede?
The union at one point offered that they keep their slaves if they abandoned the secession movement, and they refused. It was about more than slavery.
Slavery had nothing to do with the civil war. Your first sentence nailed it.
Slavery was written into every state constitution in the Confederacy.
And the North had slaves almost a year more than the Southern states.
They should have sent them all back
The Anglo Saxon Caucasians at that time were Israelites so we know about that slavery.
The Emancipation Proclamation legally freed virtually every slave in 1863, the 13th Amendment only finally ended it in Delaware and Kentucky.
No, they weren't.
Right to secede…you dont need a right to do that. They did it anyway.
There's no right to secede and slavery was written into every state constitution in the Confederacy.
Correct. The issue of secession was discussed but never formally decided by the founders which is why a civil war was fought over it. Now it is illegal to secede.
"Muh slavery wuz in constitution" is irrelevant since there were a shitload of slaves in the northern states, some of which briefly proposed a central Confederacy.
It is not irrelevant. It is why they seceded.
