You misunderstand. George Washington was never crowned and then gave the crown back. They offered and he turned it down. I said nobody who received absolute power has ever returned it.
It's more than obvious that President Trump has as close to absolute power as you can get. He has had it for years. But even he will not be able to keep it if he would ever misuse it. The people behind him want consitutional law. They are not in it for themselves. That's the difference and it is a massive difference
There is no question about that. All the "heros" in the bible were exactly the same. Still God deals with this world through man. He gave us dominion so He works through us to accomplish His will.
On the one hand we are not to allow any man to take God's place. On the other hand when God is working through someone we are called to pray for that person or those people for God's will to be done.
Those are the ones in the arena taking the shots from the evil one. If we don't stand with them (prayer) they will fail and so will we.
I completely agree with you but I also understand that when God works in this world he works through man. Otherwise He Lied in Gen 1:26.
I know that God did not lie.
George Washington did, they wanted to make him king

That's fair but it's a slippery slope. Trump is a man not a god and men are corruptable.
