That's fair but it's a slippery slope. Trump is a man not a god and men are corruptable.
There is no question about that. All the "heros" in the bible were exactly the same. Still God deals with this world through man. He gave us dominion so He works through us to accomplish His will. On the one hand we are not to allow any man to take God's place. On the other hand when God is working through someone we are called to pray for that person or those people for God's will to be done. Those are the ones in the arena taking the shots from the evil one. If we don't stand with them (prayer) they will fail and so will we. I completely agree with you but I also understand that when God works in this world he works through man. Otherwise He Lied in Gen 1:26. I know that God did not lie.
As a Christian, no way God is working through Trump. Love Trump but he is a Christian only in name. Let's be honest, he has never read the Bible or went to church before he needed republican support. He's a new york billionaire real estate mogul who has been in like 4 marriages. They asked him what his favorite Bible verse is and he just said "all of them". Couldn't name a single one. Trump is awesome but please he is not a pious man and if anything just appease Evangelicals for support....
He is working through Trump. I think you misunderstand what working through man means. It really is not about the person it's about God working His will on earth through man. Example. God was working through Caiaphas who was the high priest and against Jesus. God used him for a prophesy.
