Blood pressure is a function of the balance between sodium and sugar intake, I've seen so much of the evidence in myself over the years that supports the theory (which is hard to find even on the more free search engines.) The DASH diet has you slash salt but it also has you slash sugar while ignoring how much the drop in sugar lowers your BP. The problem that I found on low-carb diets is that eventually my BP would rebound back up because having sugar and salt so reduced messes with hormones which counteract what caused the BP drop. That is another reason why when on low-carb diets you need so much extra sodium.
However when you increase your sugar intake (preferably from whole fruits) your BP will creep back up if you don't reduce the salt intake. So you can have normal BP on a low-carb/high-salt diet or on a high-carb/low-salt diet but both being high or both being low is what screws you up.
How your blood pressure lol
250/ 150. I dont know why I feel stressed all the time. Kek.. jk, I have a normal bp.
Salt isn't quite the enemy they want you to think it is.
