Unfortunately, many places have protective custody that does not involve solitary. They live pretty much the same as general population but in their own little pedo world. People who make statements or testify often choose this option as well.
One thing I appreciated learning while inside (on the west coast, may be different elsewhere) is that there was a rule in place, that if you ever come across anyone who is PC, which would most of the time only be in passing while accompanied by guards, you were REQUIRED to at least attempt to assault them. If you did not, you would be punished.
According to Christian doctrine, there are souls in hell right now for all of eternity, being punished forever for what they did on earth. So...
God should not save any of them—but should save these two horrific disgusting violent evil perverts? Why?
Or, conversely...
God should also save all those souls He's already condemned to hell?
Why? He didn't know what He was doing when He sent them there? God made mistakes?
Raised Catholic from age 0 to 17. This kind of contradictory stuff is what made me agnostic.
EDIT: To be fair, anon, these are rhetorical questions. I know neither you nor anybody else has anything like rational answers. Because nobody actually knows. Because it's irrational. Like the downvotes this rational comment will likely absorb.
There IS a provision provided all humanity from the Saviors Atonement: heartfelt repentence of all sin, it clears the slate and the Heavenly Father will rejoice over another of his children coming home..
Miscarriagr of justice... They should be publicly executed to draw massive attention to this case
Genpop may well do those kids justice.
This. People hurting kids do not last long. Either GP gets em, or they lose their minds in solitary. Either way they'll never be heard from again.
God save their souls.
