Its homepage seems to indicate similar hijinks and hijacks. Did you have evidence it was actually NASA satellite footage, as that didn't appear in the link?
It's understandable that this is removed from GAW. If there were a true NASA fault in plain sight then I might ask for it to be restored due to the ease of misunderstanding both your OP and your link.

Still doesn't answer the question how the amateur astronomer got a picture of the portion of the moon that never faces us. Unless the so called video that NASA claims is from a satellite is a fake.

However, this image clearly depicts the earth-facing side of the moon, which would be impossible in this view since the moon is tidally locked.
