Either have someone stay with the vehicle, or have someone move it out of the fire lane and park elsewhere after the emergency is over.
You can't park where fire trucks might be required to access in an emergency. It's no different from parking in front of a hydrant.
A police vehicle is an emergency vehicle and by most state laws they are authorized to park in those lanes.
Do you know if they need to have their emergency flashers on while sitting in that no parking area, or can they be parked there at all times?
