Economy just sucks lately for consumers. I know this because I work indirectly for Amazon and sales have dropped 50%. I don't even know if I'll have a job next year. People can't afford to buy non essential items when groceries, fuel is up so much. Its just the reality right now. Nobody has extra money to buy anything else!
When economy was good, when we got stimulus checks, business was up. We were getting hundreds of orders per day. Now, it's less than 40 a day. Go figure,
Which is why I get so annoyed when Trump says the Golden Age. No this shit sucks right now. Part of that is because I live in Washington State but everything is so expensive.
I'm still holding out hope though.

I don't put hope in humanity anymore.. everyone at my work, including my boss, are triple and quadrupled jabbed and boosted... gotta invest where it counts and protect yourself however you can.
I still think this "pain" is temporary and things will get better soon. Keep fighting!

I've been on a 90% boycott of Amazon because of the Woke crap. I know there are others doing the same. I can't say I have gone 100% like with Target, Nike, Disney, etc. I shop more locally or smaller online retailers whenever possible.
