I owed taxes for last year, and they still haven't taken out my direct payment I made on April 15th! It's been a real pain in the butt making sure that money is there.

Here are some steps:
Cut way back on government spending, at some point actually having a Constitutional Republic.
Bring manufacturing back to the U.S.
People will still want some stuff from overseas, although not essential stuff. Tariff that stuff.
Use that money for a very effective, streamlined military that ONLY protects the U.S. It's the only big thing on the Constitutional list.
Get rid of the federal income tax.
