It was a pain while i was on holiday, Now it seems to be ok in the UK.

I thought the whole point of cloud flare is that they host extra caches themselves to cope with extra traffic.

You can use a manual DNS on your router or even your computers adapter options. Do that and you should be fine

Or you can proxy it via socks5.

If you have firefox, add mullvad addon, allow for private windows, and indicate which proxy you want to use.
