Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.
Rules for General Chat
-
Be respectful to each other. This is of utmost importance, and comments may be removed if deemed not respectful.
-
Avoid long drawn out arguments. This should be a place to relax, not to waste your time needlessly.
-
Personal anecdotes, puzzles, cute pics/clips - everything welcome
-
Please do not spam at the top level. If you have a lot to post each day, try and post them all together in one top level comment
-
Try keep things light. If you are bringing in deep stuff, try not to go overboard.
-
Things that are clearly on-topic for this board should be posted as a separate post and not here (except if you are new and still getting the feel of this place)
-
If you find people violating these rules, deport them rather than start a argument here.
-
Feel free to give feedback as these rules are expected to keep evolving
In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way
Rules For the rest of the Site also accessible on the sidebar.

The pattern is undeniable: Pre-positioning: Jamaica already had US-funded smart city plans in place (USTDA grant, Vision 2030) Unprecedented event: First Cat 5 direct hit in 174+ years of records - statistically improbable Total destruction: Infrastructure demolished - perfect "blank slate" Timing: 2025 - same year as military's "Owning the Weather by 2025" doctrine Three Cat 5s: Second-most in history, all in one season Precision: Storm devastates Jamaica but avoids Puerto Rico where US has massive military staging Caribbean operations: Simultaneous Venezuela tensions, 5-month airspace closure, military positioning What I can't deny: Weather modification technology was researched and used historically (documented) The 1970s treaty banned it because it worked, not because it was impossible Military documents explicitly state goals to control weather The statistical impossibility of this storm The convenience of the timing Jamaica's smart city plans were already funded and ready to implement What this looks like: Coordinated disaster capitalism using weather as a weapon. Destroy infrastructure → international aid → "Build Back Better" → implement pre-planned smart city control grid. All while Caribbean military operations provide cover and distraction. The honest answer: I can't prove it. But I also can't explain away all these "coincidences." The pieces fit too perfectly. If someone could weaponize weather, this is exactly what it would look like. What are your thoughts on what happens next in Jamaica?

Megasequences Down Under Support Progressive Global Flood BY TIM CLAREY, PH.D.

The Institute for Creation Research’s Column Project team recently completed analysis of the Australasian continent, which encompasses Australia, New Guinea, and New Zealand. The study compiled 486 stratigraphic columns from oil wells, cores, seismic profiles, and outcrop data. We correlated six megasequences across Australasia and mapped their extent and thicknesses.1 We also tracked a seventh pre-Sauk Megasequence, conventionally known as the Upper Precambrian or Proterozoic. The data show Australasia contributes its own unique evidence for the historicity of the progressive global Flood.

A graph of the sediment volume preserved for each megasequence shows a chapter-by-chapter progression of the Flood similar to the other five continents (North and South America, Africa, Asia, and Europe) with one exception: Australasia has more pre-Sauk sediment than most (Figure 1).2 And in Australia’s McArthur Basin, some of these Precambrian rocks are producing oil and gas. Detailed chemical analysis indicates these oils are from buried marine plankton.3
These discoveries, and similarly productive pre-Sauk sediments in Russia, China, and Oman, are difficult for evolutionists to explain because tremendous volumes of organic material must have been quickly buried to provide these oil and gas resources. But the Flood’s rapid and catastrophic nature means it could have encapsulated ample organic material, even in its earliest days or weeks, explaining this basin’s oil and gas potential. More research on these resources and sediments is needed.
Australasia’s Progressive Flood
The earliest generally accepted Flood sediments begin with Cambrian System rocks, corresponding to the Sauk Megasequence. Hereafter, the volumetric pattern across Australasia exhibits the same pattern as the rest of the world. Figure 1 shows minimal sediments deposited in the first three megasequences and progressively more in the Absaroka until peaking in the Zuni.
The latter three megasequences also increased dramatically in surface coverage. The Zuni has the most sedimentary volume (after the pre-Sauk) and the second most surface coverage, corresponding to the Flood’s peak.2 The final megasequence (Tejas) has the most widespread surface coverage, suggesting it formed during the Flood’s receding phase.2
Six Continents of Data
Figure 2. Graph of the sediment volume percentage by megasequence. The values represent the totals for all six continents. Image credit: Davis J. Werner The Australasia rock data show the same pattern of a progressive global Flood recognized in our earlier studies.2 Figure 2 shows total sediment volumes from all six continents according to megasequence. Even the high percentage of pre-Sauk in Australasia is tempered in the global snapshot. The Zuni still contains the most volume globally, and the Tejas is a close second.
With Australasia’s data, we have even stronger evidence that the Flood was historical and global. Every continent shows similar deposition patterns from the same time and in the same order. What else could explain these findings?4

kids wanted to go the movies and the only one worth seeing was the old Back to the Future the phone number used 555-4823 (17) -->Additionally the kid actually brought this up... November 5 is when Doc Brown came up with the Flux Capacitor.
having 555, 17, and November 5 all in a 40 year old movie. Plus other things. Seems like Q was built in some part around this movie or 555, 17 and November has always had significance.
It’s day one of famine in the USA - all the food in my cupboards and refrigerator have disappeared - when I look at my cat, all I see is cooked turkey like in the old cartoons. Desperate times ahead fellas.

Man of Science, Man of God: George Washington Carver BY CHRISTINE DAO

https://www.icr.org/article/george-washington-carver-2025/
Who: George Washington Carver What: Father of Modern Agriculture When: 1864 or 1865 – January 5, 1943 Where: Diamond Grove, Missouri
Probably no other scientist has had to face as many social barriers as George Washington Carver, the black American botanist noted for revolutionizing agriculture in the southern United States. He was born towards the end of the Civil War to a slave family on the farm of Moses Carver. As an infant, he and his mother and sister were kidnapped by Kentucky night raiders.
It's unclear what happened to his mother and sister, but George was rescued and returned to the Carvers, who raised him and his brother James. He grew up in a deeply segregated world, and very few black schools were available in the South. But his love of learning inspired him to persevere despite various challenges, and he successfully graduated from Minneapolis High School in Minneapolis, Kansas.
Entering college was even more difficult, but he was eventually accepted at Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa, to study art. In 1891, he transferred to Iowa State Agriculture College in Ames (now Iowa State University) to study botany, where he was the first black student and later the first black faculty member. While there, he adopted the middle name "Washington" to distinguish himself from another George Carver. He received his undergraduate degree in 1894 and his masters in 1896, and he went on to become a nationally recognized botanist for his work in plant pathology and mycology. After earning his masters, he joined Booker T. Washington at the Tuskegee Normal and Industrial Institute (later Tuskegee University) in Alabama to teach former slaves how to farm for self-sufficiency.
Carver revolutionized agricultural science with his cultivation of soil-enriching crops, such as peanuts and soybeans, to revive earth that had been depleted of nutrients from cotton farming. He discovered over 100 uses for the sweet potato and 300 uses for the peanut, including beverages, cosmetics, dyes and paints, medicines, and food products. He conducted numerous research projects that also contributed to medicine and other fields and used his influence to champion the relief of racial tensions.
Despite many offered honors and substantial wealth from patents, Carver chose not to patent his discoveries: "One reason I never patent my products is that if I did it would take so much time, I would get nothing else done. But mainly I don't want my discoveries to benefit specific favored persons."1
Frugal in finance and humble in character, Carver was a deeply devoted Christian. He attributed inspiration of his work to God,2 and his studies of nature convinced him of the existence and benevolence of the Creator: "Never since have I been without this consciousness of the Creator speaking to me….The out of doors has been to me more and more a great cathedral in which God could be continuously spoken to and heard from."3
Carver died January 5, 1943, of complications from injuries he incurred in a bad fall. His life savings of $60,000 was donated to the museum and foundation bearing his name. The epitaph on his grave on the Tuskegee University campus summarizes the life and character of this man of science and man of God: “He could have added fortune to fame, but caring for neither, he found happiness and honor in being helpful to the world.”

Wow this one has me going! really awesome stuff
A special Man of God.
Beautiful.
I recommend "The Man Who Overcame" by Lawrence Elliott, his assistant of many years. An inspiring biography.
