homemaker is all work no pay and thus needs appropriate recognition
I feed myself, bathe myself, and even wipe my own butt. That all technically is work too, but I don't need or want recognition for that, nor should any be given. Why? because that is the bare minimum kind of things that are just expected, it is default. If you are a homemaker, you literally get to have the best and most meaningful job there is, and have all your needs and child's needs met for you. So taking care of the house is just the default bare minimum in my opinion.
If I got to raise and spend all day with my kids, day after day, and never had to worry about bills, or food, or housing, etc.. and all I had to do to get this deal is keep the house in order, I would take that in a second! So I think you have things backwards.
It’s the hardest job or else women wouldnt be running from it and out sourcing it.
it isn't hard to understand is it?
Pretty bad argument imo..
I've had times in my life where I worked and took care of my family via a normal working job, and times when I watched, raised and took care of my kids from dawn to dusk (from babies, to infants, toddlers, to young kids), including ALL the housework. And I can emphatically say, as someone who has been on both sides, that being in the homemaker role is literally the best mode of being you can be in (at least that I have found). It is far more meaningful and fulfilling than any other job you could possibly have (maybe something like curing cancer for all humanity could top it).
You state it sucks because many, or even a majority of women, run from or outsource this? Ask men if they would rather be punched in the face, or sit through a play/opera. I'd bet you would have a substantial number that would rather be punched in the face, but that does not prove plays or operas are bad.
If you are in a homemaker role, my advice is to acknowledge and be grateful for being in that position. There are many that would give just about anything to be in that role, myself included. They are not paid in money, they are paid in quality time with family, which is far, far more valuable. You could take the worst job in the world, then offer it with a million dollar paycheck, and you would get an endless number of people in that line. Being a homemaker pays even higher than that, it's just not in money. If you can't recognize that, then I feel sorry for you.
It’s not an argument. It’s a statement.
I don’t disagree with you. I made a true statement. I have seven children and likely pregnant with number eight. I stay home with them. It’s rewarding but it’s the hardest job and now we’re back to my statement- women run from it because it’s hard. I’m a military veteran. I’ve worked in veterinary medicine. This job is the hardest with the most demanding hours. Like I said.
hahahaha
A good homemaker and mom will never produce the slugs you see voting democrat. I said a good homemaker. Men barely get recognized for sacrificing their bodies to feed and care for their families. We know the value of a good wife and mother allows us to go and do so.
I think housewives should be allowed to pay themselves whatever they want!
