We were also supposed to have robot butlers that lived in a cabinet in our kitchen that helped the homemaker in her daily tasks such as making aspic gelatin cakes for her hard working hubby, so she could have more free time to do her nails and watch soap operas on her 10" full color television

People up in my neck of the woods, a few of them, went large and got all these heat pumps installed. We have a good 2 months solid of temps never going above 25 degrees. They are cold in their homes. I use wood. Its sustainable, you can get scrubbers and catalytics to keep down the pollution. Yes, there is some change in my lifetime, but that is what climate does. It changes. The Green industry is another money laundering. IMO. People who study these things can look at a tree that is centuries old and study the rings, which tell them the years of drought, the years of below zero, it happens.
