The media's message? You need to screen for cancer and save your life. They don't want the message that cancer screenings cause cancer. I wouldn't be surprised if Tad Carper's throat cancer was caused by that cancer screening.
Sweden has banned mammograms a couple of years ago. I was always skeptical about it. My analogy is... They place your breasts on a cold metal plate, then they apply enough weight to flatten the breast and possibly rupturing the membrane then the damaged or ruptured tissue is then exposed to radiation perhaps causing cancer. I wonder what the statistics are between having a mammogram or not. I've never had one, and refused a colonoscopy. They hate us so I don't trust them one bit.
I am not taking anything from cancer screenings. I just find it shocking that the media would release an article about cancer screenings the day before Thanksgiving. Yes I know that the Cowboys play tomorrow, but I just needed to point out the situation.
